My Dragon Hugs Me
This isn't just a fairy tale:
it comes from a real and profound experience. I chose to transform my experience into a story, so that fibromyalgia, this invisible pain, could become light. My Dragon isn't just a traveling companion: he is the strength that sustains me and that anyone can feel beside them. Every word you read is a fragment of life draped in magic, with the intention of bringing courage and hope to all the kind souls who encounter this story.
Fibromyalgia is a silent pain that weighs like a mountain, but it is also the terrain on which I learned to cultivate resilience. There are days when my body seems unresponsive and my heart feels tired; days when even a small gesture becomes a challenge.
In those moments, he is there: my Dragon. He doesn't arrive with a bang, he doesn't demand anything. He gently envelops me with his luminous wings and lets me rest in his warm embrace. He doesn't ask me to smile when I don't have the strength, he doesn't make me feel less if I need to stop. With his presence, he reminds me that even fragility deserves respect.
When fatigue wears me down, my Dragon whispers words no one hears: "You can slow down. You can breathe. Even so, you are enough." In that embrace, I find peace.
My Dragon knows my scars and transforms them into signs of resilience, luminous traces of a battle that hasn't defeated me, but made me more authentic. I've learned that strength lies not in perfection, but in the ability to get up after every fall. That even a tiny step has value. That stopping, when necessary, isn't weakness, but self-love.
My Dragon doesn't free me from pain, but teaches me to transform it into awareness. He reminds me that inside me there is a light that never goes out, ready to shine even when everything seems dark. And so I continue, day after day. Not a victim, not just a warrior, but a soul that still walks, with courage and dignity.
It is with this same transformed strength that I choose and craft stones: with love, respect, and gratitude, so that each creation brings light to those who wear it.
Dedicated... To all those experiencing invisible pain, physical or emotional: you are not alone. Your value is not measured by how much you do, but by the silent strength with which you continue to be there, day after day. Whether you are woman or man, young or old, remember that within you there is always a spark that endures. May you too feel a Dragon beside you, ready to embrace you and remind you that, despite everything, you are enough.
This is my story, and it is the gift I choose to share. It is not written to inspire compassion, but to testify that even from pain, beauty can be born. My words are dedicated to gentle souls, to those who seek light, to those who recognize the strength that comes even from wounds. And it is with this strength that I continue to walk, with my Dragon at my side.
