Le ali di Sem e il Drago delle Nuvole

The Wings of Shem and the Cloud Dragon

..... "Let this fairy tale be a small tribute to those who, with a simple gesture, can transform another's life".....

Once upon a time, a long, long time ago, in a village hidden among the clouds, there was a young woman named Sem. She had deep, luminous eyes, like those of someone who has already cried a lot... but she never stopped dreaming. She always carried an invisible suitcase, full of sad thoughts and long silences.

Sem lived in a house where the sun rarely entered, and even when it shone, it never seemed to be enough. She often walked alone, her head down, convinced she wasn't worthy enough.

One day, while watching the clouds transform into castles and dreams, she saw something extraordinary: a silver dragon dancing among the currents of the sky. It was the Cloud Dragon, a gentle and wise spirit, who watched from above over those who were searching for their own light.

Sem didn't know why, but every time she looked up and saw him flying, her heart beat a little faster.

It was around that time that she met the Traveler. He had no name, just kind eyes and a colorful hat. He arrived like the wind, silent but present. Every morning he left a drawing for her by the river: a smiling flower, a hot air balloon filled with stars, a cat reading poetry.

But the most beautiful drawing was only one: Sem with a pair of golden wings that shone like the full moon.

"Why did you draw me like that?" she asked him one day, her eyes filled with wonder.

"Because you have them," he replied, "you just forgot."

From that moment on, every kind word from the Traveler became a feather, every smile a flutter of wings. The Cloud Dragon, silent and strong, continued to circle in the sky, leaving luminous trails that seemed to dance just for her.

And slowly, Sem began to change. She felt something awakening inside her, something that perhaps had always been there: courage.

One day, the Traveler had to continue his journey. "I can't stay," he told her, "but the thread that unites us will never break."

And so it was. Sem learned to fly, truly. And even if the suitcase didn't disappear completely, it was now lighter, because inside it she had placed her wings... and a silver feather, a gift from someone who had seen in her what she had forgotten.

The Cloud Dragon still accompanies her, invisible to the eye, but alive in her heart. Because now Sem is no longer just a woman...

She is a woman who tells fairy tales, and who gives wings to those who don't yet know they have them.

Moral of the story:

Sometimes we lose ourselves... but all it takes is a kind look, a true encounter, to find our wings again. And when we learn to fly, we can help others do the same.

"A thought of affection and gratitude...

To you, Traveler, who with your kind eyes and your luminous designs have lit a fire in my heart, goes my deepest thanks. Even though the journey has taken us far, the gift of your wings continues to fly with me, reminding me every day of my worth."
