Il Viaggio di Arlo e il Drago delle Parole

The Good Dinosaur and the Word Dragon

Once upon a time, there was a boy named Arlo. Arlo was kind and sweet, but he often felt sad. The other children laughed at him because he didn't look like the others. Arlo tried to stay away from them, hoping no one would notice.

One day, Arlo decided to go find a place where he could be in peace. He climbed the hill near the village and, among the trees, saw a mysterious light. He followed the light and came to a clearing where he found a woman and a large dragon.

The woman's name was Sem, and beside her was a silver-scaled dragon. "Welcome, Arlo," Sem said with a smile. "I see you're carrying a heavy heart, but you've come to the right place."

Arlo looked at the dragon and said, "The words of others hurt me. I feel small and sad."

Sem nodded. "I know, Arlo. Words can hurt us, but we can choose how we respond. The Word Dragon is here to help you understand that your strength comes from within, not from the words of others."

Sem took a colorful bracelet and placed it on Arlo's wrist. "This is the Word Dragon Bracelet. Whenever someone hurts you with words, look at the bracelet and remember that words don't define you. You are strong, and nothing can change who you are."

The dragon said, "Words may be like the wind, but you are like a root growing strong in the earth. Whenever someone hurts you with words, remember that you are stronger than them."

Arlo returned to the village with the bracelet on his wrist. Whenever anyone looked at him or laughed at him, Arlo looked at the bracelet and felt more confident. Little by little, the children began to understand that Arlo was special, and some approached to apologize. Arlo smiled and replied, "Words are important, but we can choose how we use them."

Moral of the story:
Words can hurt us, but we decide how to let them enter our hearts. When we believe in our strength, no words can bring us down. If we learn to use words to do good, we can grow as strong as a tree.
